EDINBURG, Texas (KVEO) – The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) announced Monday that the home baseball game against Texas A&M Corpus Christi as part of the South Texas Showdown of The Navy Army Community Credit Union, which was previously scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test from Tier 1 employees as part of the A&M Corpus Christi baseball program in Texas.

UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi are working to postpone the game for later in the season.
Individual ticket holders can exchange their tickets for tickets to Texas State’s April 6 home game. This is also a $ 2 Tuesday from 6pm by texting or the UTRGV Ticket Sales and Operations team at Carlos Munoz (956-665-3747) and Tiffany Ochoa (956-665-3415) ) until Saturday. All individual ticket holders who do not exchange their tickets will receive a refund on the credit card they used to purchase the tickets. It usually takes 5 to 7 business days for refunds to appear in the account.

At the end of the season, UTRGV season baseball card holders have the option of either donating the remaining balance for canceled games that have not been replaced or rescheduled to the V-Club, or receiving credit for 2022 season baseball tickets to get a refund.
UTRGV opened a four-game series against California Baptist at 6pm on Thursday at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. UTRGV Athletics limits the capacity at the UTRGV Baseball Stadium to approximately 1,200 fans. Single game tickets can be purchased online at UTRGVTickets.com.
