Boston – The national architecture and engineering firm HED starts the new year with the appointment of a new school principal in Boston: Dennis Julian, PE, ATD, DCEP – Mission Critical / Data Center Specialist

This promotion and the appointment of several associate principals and associates marks the end of a strong year for the company. In 2019, HED added over 70 new employees and two new subway locations in Boston and Dallas through mergers with Puchlik Design Associates (PDA) and Integrated Design Group (ID Group), expanding the company’s reach in all sectors.

Dennis is an electrical engineer and subject matter expert at MEPFP with over 30 years of experience in data center design. Dennis has worked with many hyperscale, wholesale, colocation, and corporate clients across the country. Dennis, who originally contributed to the ANSI / BICSI-002 standard for best practices for data center design and implementation, continues to contribute during the regular update cycles.

His expertise leads HED’s growing mission-critical and data center teams and adds technical sophistication to the company’s integrated design methodology to achieve superior data center design results.
