Where to see Christmas lights in Corpus Christi 2020

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – It’s Christmas time, and just because things are a little different this year doesn’t mean the time of year still can’t be merry and bright!

Corpus Christi is home to several extravagant light shows and displays that add a bit of holiday joy to anyone who walks through them.

Here is a list of light shows and displays that will get you in the holly fun spirit for the entire month of December.

Candy Cane Lane
Schanen Estates: Donegal Drive, Wooldridge Road, McAlpin Drive, and Killamet Drive

Candy Cane Lane is a neighborhood where residents decorate their homes to welcome the holidays. Visitors are encouraged to drive or stroll through the holiday wonderland of lights.

Peppermint Lane
Corpus Christi downtown: Chaparral Street

Businesses are lit up in 1960s-style decorations while staying open to shoppers late into the night, offering goodies, music, and more.

Mr. Bill’s Wonderland
3242 Hampton St.

Bill Cox has been providing its Christmas lights to residents of the city for 20 years. His wonderland includes choirs, a Christmas train, giant stuffed animals, a nativity scene, and Santa Claus.

Mazoch Family Christmas display
North Padre Island: 15301 Isabella Court

This display was featured in ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” in 2015. It brings the traditional holiday displays that we love with an island style.

The Bocanegra family has been marketing this display for 20 years. It includes lifelike animals and free popcorn every night.

Santa’s mailbox
1026 Belmeade Drive

Put your letter in the huge red mailbox while the snow is falling and Christmas music is playing. The last day you send your letter and get a response from Santa Claus is December 24th.

Garcia Holiday Light Show
3425 Austin St.

Over 68,000 lights are synchronized with holiday music on 100.7 FM. Gabriel Garcia has been bringing out his light display for the residents of the entire bend in the coast since 2017.

Redden Family Christmas
6210 Lourdes St.

Can’t tell this is the first time Gary Redden has used a bright pixel vacation display. With 10,000 specially made lights programmed on 27 songs, you’ll want to add this vacation indicator to your vacation lights tour.
