CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The NAACP chapter has taken over from Corpus Christi. The organization’s new president was sworn in at the Children’s Museum of Science and History on Saturday.
Jermey Coleman, the new president of Corpus Christi NAACP, says there is still work to be done and he is ready for the challenge.
“The top priority is communicating what the NAACP stands for and what changes it can make,” said Coleman.
He says he also wants to make sure our youth and college community is involved by activating a youth chapter.
