The city of Corpus Christi announces new Deputy Director for Aviation

Corpus Christi City has appointed Tyler Miller, AAE, as the new Deputy Aviation Director of Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP). In this role, Miller will be responsible for expanding flight service, reducing flight leaks and addressing the need for increased demand for new and expanded flight services. He will take up his new position on April 13th. Miller most recently served as Airport Operations Manager at South Bend International Airport, where he led and managed a department with eleven employees with an annual budget of $ 3.1 million. Previously, he was Airport Operations Supervisor for St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and Airport Operations & Maintenance Agent for Purdue University Airport. “I am humble to have this opportunity to join the Corpus Christi team,” said Miller. “I thank Tim O’Donnell and Mike Daigle for helping me develop and prepare for this position during my tenure at SBN. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace management from Purdue University. He is also an accredited member (AAE) of the American Association of Airport Executives and holds a private pilot license.
