Take a 2-hour ghost tour of downtown Corpus Christi or hop aboard the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay for a private tour of one of America’s most haunted places. The aircraft carrier was seen in episode 12, season 3 of the TV show “Ghost Hunters”.

The city tour takes place every Friday in October. The host is Enjoy Corpus Christi Tours LLC, which takes groups to more than 13 locations in the city center. Tours start at 7:30 PM

The tour includes the perimeter of the old Nueces County’s courthouse that is believed to be haunted. The county had to fence the crumbling building to keep ghost hunters out.

The locations on the tour are kept secret except for the courthouse. The fun ends with a stroll through a 1929 haunted building.

The cost is $ 21 per person. For reservations, call 361-696-9006. The remaining dates are October 10th, 15th, 24th and 31st. You can find more information on the Facebook page.

Reservations are also required for a paranormal tour of the USS Lexington. Known as the “Blue Spirit”, the ship is home to a well-known seaman’s spirit who makes its presence known all year round. He and other shadow figures were reportedly seen both above and below deck.

Paranormal detection devices are available for a full investigation of any area on the ship where ghostly activity has previously been recorded.

If you’re brave enough, you can even stay the night. To book your tour call 361-888-5873 ext 305. The Paranormal Tour is $ 50 per person and you must be 18 years or older to take part. The overnight tour is $ 75 per person, up to eight people, plus $ 25 for the guide.

Paranormal tours and overnight stays aboard the USS Lexington operate year-round.
