It’s summer in Corpus Christi and all we want is a sunny day with family and friends – and maybe even a good margarita.
One of the great things about living in the Sparkling City by the sea is the beautiful views of Corpus Christi Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

In no particular order, we’ve compiled a list of the best restaurants overlooking the coastal bend.
The Republic of Texas
If you can afford to indulge in the Republic of Texas on the top floor of the Omni Hotel, we recommend driving there for the best views of the sunset over the bay.

Hester at the South Texas Art Museum
Order a glass of wine or a mimosa and enjoy the view of the Corpus Christi port. You might even spot a dolphin or two in the water.

This one is a must! Locals love the romantic atmosphere and the view of Corpus Christi Bay.
4310 Ocean Drive
When visiting the T-Heads, Harrison’s Landing is a good place to take a break, have a cocktail and take in the views of the Corpus Christi Marina.

Moondog Seaside Eatery in Rockport-Fulton
This Rockport restaurant was newly remodeled after Hurricane Harvey and has a lovely outdoor area overlooking Rockport Harbor. Locals say they even perfected a way to keep the pesky seagulls from ruining the food.
100 N. Casterline Drive in Fulton
If you’re spending a hot summer day on the beach near Bob Hall Pier, Mikel May’s is a must.

Laguna Reef Restaurant
This restaurant in Flour Bluff is good value, we enjoy the casual atmosphere, the beautiful view – think Snoopy’s but from the other side of Laguna Madre – and the food is good too.
Oh, and they will cook your catch when you bring it in.

Are you really from Corpus Christi if you haven’t been to Snoopy’s Pier?

Live music. Great food and some of the best views of the USS Lexington Museum on the bay.

Virginia is on the bay in Port Aransas
If you’re enjoying the ferry ride to Port Aransas, indulge in Virginia’s on the Bay for some of the best views of the Corpus Christi and Aransas Canals.

Spend the day on North Beach with friends and family, indulging in a margarita in Fajitaville. The views make for good Instagram stories too!
