CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Some people in Corpus Christi were relieved Wednesday after being without water for weeks.
As KRIS 6 News first reported, the residents of the Rasmussen properties on Omaha are Dr. after the big freeze for three weeks without water.
Management told KRIS 6 News that the delay was due to the lack of parts needed for the repair.
For this reason, KRIS 6 decided to intervene and help.
Our staff reached out to the American Red Cross to see if they could help residents. On Wednesday they came to deliver cases of water to those in need.
“I took a shower for the first time in two weeks,” said one resident. “And I thank God, the Red Cross came here and gave us water because we could all have gotten sick.”
We were told that residents should restore their water by Thursday.
This is a developing story. Stay with KRIS 6 News for the latest information.
