Have a fun and faithful time in St. John as we celebrate Jesus on his special Corpus Christi day. We will have food, fellowship, a Eucharistic procession, an evening of family worship and praise, and quiet outdoor worship all night until 6:30 am. Saturday. We invite all your family and friends to give glory to Jesus.
Please refer to our schedule below:
You don’t have to be an artist to create beauty for our Lord. Visit the SJE parking lot anytime between 1:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and decorate a parking lot along the Corpus Christi procession. BYO chalk or use ours. Bottled water will be available. Don’t forget sunscreen, hats and chairs. It’s a great time to visit with friends. All are welcome!
The Chesapeake Food Works Food Truck is on campus from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At https://cfwfoodtruck.company.site/ you will find a delicious menu with crab cakes, prawn gumbo, falafel and cotton candy for children and the young at heart. Also bring your own food and chairs.
All first communicants are invited to assemble at 6.45 p.m., dressed in their splendor for the procession. Bring a basket filled with leaves, flowers, and petals of all kinds. The children will go before the procession and scatter flowers before the Lord. If you have any questions, please contact Ruth Gorski, [email protected], 410-647-4892.
