DALLAS, April 13, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Body of Christ, lies in the Gulf of Mexicois the most expensive destination in Texas based on the cost of accommodation, according to a recent survey by CheapHotels.org.
The survey compared 30 cities in the Lone Star State, using the average price for the cheapest double room available (minimum 3-star hotel) per month April 2021. April is usually the month when most Texas cities hit their highest average hotel prices.
Stay inside Body of ChristTravelers need to spend on average $ 105 per night. The border towns of step and the McLennan County Headquarters of Wacowith average nightly rates of USD 102 and $ 100each for their cheapest room.
While hotel prices have increased in recent months, they are still 25% cheaper compared to 2019. The decline is even greater in certain destinations, such as the state capital Austin, where prices are still down 40% compared to pre-Covid levels.
The most significant drop in prices is in Odessa and Midlandwho have favourited Texas oil boom cities in the heart of the Permian Basin. Compared to the tariffs set in 2019, both destinations are currently around 60% cheaper.
